Fall 2013 Class Cancellations

Tuesday, December 10

  • Due to inclement weather, George Mason University administrative offices closed and exams cancelled Tuesday December 10th.

Final exams scheduled on Tuesday, December 10 have been rescheduled to Friday, December 13 at the same time and location.  While the new date will be used for most courses, other arrangements can be made by emailing adhoc@gmu.edu.  Please ensure that students are aware of plans for the final exam or other assignment adjustments by contacting them directly or via Blackboard.

If you do not need the classroom for your final exam, please notify the Registrar’s Office by sending an email to adhoc@gmu.edu.

Thursday, September 19

  • All Classes and events are cancelled and administrative offices are closed until 12:00 noon Thursday September 19th on the Fairfax Campus ONLY due to an extended power outage.

For classes cancelled on Thu, September 19 before 12:00 pm,  instructors may arrange make-ups on an ad hoc basis. Requests for make-up classrooms should be made to your department’s scheduling coordinator, who will work with the Office of the University Registrar to secure an appropriate classroom.

Instructors are reminded to contact students, directly or via Blackboard, on adjustments in patterns of assignments in the courses for which they are responsible.
