Change of Major FAQ’s

What is the new change of major procedure?
If the form is submitted to our office after the last day to add for that semester, we will process the form for the following term. For example: If we receive the form in November, we will create a spring record and update the major. This will ensure no registration issues.
Will this impact registration?
No. We have tested the new procedure and with us creating the future term, registration will not have any impact and will recognize the new major for that term.
What about students that are graduating?
We will take those on a case by case basis and still process the form. Please make sure the box on top is checked that indicates to us that the student has filed their intent.
How can we see the change?
You can see the change in Patriot Web and Degree Works. We have tested the new procedure and the changes are reflective when made for a future term.
