When you search for a course, you will see the current step of workflow listed in the table right after the course title. Alternatively, you can click on the course to view more detailed information. When you view a proposal for a course that is in workflow, you will see a box at the top right of a proposal that says In Workflow. All steps of workflow that have been completed will be green, the current step will be orange and future steps will be in gray. You can click on any of those roles to generate an email to the approver.
