Procedures for Post 9/11 GI® Bill Applicants and Recipients

Active Duty and Veterans:

1. Apply for or update your education benefits through the Department of Veterans Affairs.
2. Submit a Veterans Registration Reporting Form (VRRF) after your registration is finalized.
3. Upload your Certification of Eligibility (COE) HERE when received from VA.
4. If you are Domiciled Out-of-State but reside in Virginia (including dorms or local apartment) Submit an Out-of-State Tuition Exemption Request

Dependents:

1. Apply for or update your education benefits through the Department of Veterans Affairs.
2. Submit a copy of the TEB screenshot showing benefit transfer approval to [email protected] if waiting for a Certificate of Eligibility (COE) from VA.
3. Submit a Veterans Registration Reporting Form (VRRF) after your registration is finalized.
4. Upload your Certification of Eligibility (COE) HERE when received from VA.
5. If you are Domiciled Out-of-State but reside in Virginia (including dorms or local apartment) Submit an Out-of-State Tuition Exemption Request
