VA Benefits – Post 9/11 GI Bill

Procedures for Post 9/11 GI Bill Applicants and Recipients
Active Duty and Veterans:
- Apply initially online using Vets.gov.
- Submit a Veterans Registration Reporting Form (VRRF) after your registration is finalized.
- Submit a copy of your Certificate of Eligibility (COE) to military@gmu.edu when received from VA.
Dependents:
- Apply initially online using Vets.gov.
- Submit a copy of the TEB screenshot showing benefit transfer approval to military@gmu.edu if waiting for a Certificate of Eligibility (COE) from VA.
- Submit a Veterans Registration Reporting Form (VRRF) after your registration is finalized.
- Submit a copy of your Certification of Eligibility (COE) to military@gmu.edu when received from VA.
