CourseLeaf: Reports

CIM has robust reporting tools which allow you to easily generate an agenda, find stalled proposals, and more. A list of the most commonly used reports, including descriptions and instructions, follows.

To access Reports, go to the CourseLeaf Console and scroll down to the Reports section on the left side-bar.

Quick Links

Creating an Agenda

  1. From the Reports section and select Course Admin Report or Program Admin Report.
  2. Select In Workflow from the left side-bar.
  3. Scroll down to the role you would like to generate an agenda for (Associate Provost – Graduate, Mason Core Committee, etc)
  4. You have the option of choosing Additional Fields, including College or Department or Specialized Course Categories, that will appear in the filter.
  5. Select the green Run Report button at the top of the page. Your results will generate towards the bottom of the page – you may have to scroll down.
  6. You can either filter and export added, edited, and deleted courses separately or export the entire report.
  7. To create an agenda, click the Export button once you have finished any desired filtering.
  8. Choose the File type – Word is best for meeting agendas.
  9. The Word document will open with active links to the courses and programs listed.

NOTE: there is a known Microsoft Office error which may direct you to a page labeled Stale Request instead of the CIM proposal when you select one of the links from the Excel or Word .doc which you generate in step 8. A workaround:

  • You can cut and paste the links directly into the body of an email or into a WordPress page. The links will work if placed in a medium not associated with Microsoft Office.
